Dublin event
So Dublin Happened!
The CHAMELEONS Family met for the final time in Dublin on the 27th and 28th of May 2022.
I think everyone would agree when I say that an amazing 2 days were had by all.

The students were asked to create posters showing their PhD research, for display in the corridors of University College Dublin where passers-by could stop to meet the students, admire their handy work and ask questions and there was a prize for the best poster.

On the first day, the students and the consortium collaborated in a book /paper production brainstorming workshop, where some great ideas were shared. On the first evening, everyone worked up an appetite with a guided literary walking tour of Dublin followed by a very enjoyable dinner in the city all of which proved to be very popular.

On the 2nd and final day, the students presented their research in a thesis in three formats accompanied by the students of the Opening Doors Project and competed for the best presentation prize. While we were all amazed by the talents of our guest artist Philip Barret as he created a masterpiece of a poster depicting each of the presentations as the students spoke.

All in all the 2-day event in Dublin was a great success and everybody parted ways on the Friday in good spirit. The CHAMELEONS Project has been a learning experience for all where contacts and networks were created but most of all friendships were made for life not only for the students but for everybody involved.
